The Crown Wallet is easy and ready to use at Crown Sydney. 

Enjoy a seamless experience with a ready-to-go system that’s conveniently linked to your Crown Rewards card.  

Deposit using cash or your debit card for the convenience of cashless gaming across the casino. 

Best of all, the Crown Wallet will be launching into the Crown app soon for your ease-of-use.

In line with regulatory changes, Members are limited to funding their play with a maximum of $5000 cash per day. For deposit amounts more than $5000, members can deposit electronically into their Crown Wallet or deposit account.  

For payment requests, any amounts over $5000 can be paid by electronic funds transfer, or into your Crown Wallet or deposit account.

Get started with your crown wallet

Debit cards must be issued in your name to be used to make a deposit into your Crown Wallet. Crown accepts EFTPOS, Visa Debit and Mastercard Debit cards only. Surcharges apply. Contactless payments, credit cards and any kind of pre-paid cards such as gift cards will not be accepted.

I want to play with cash. Do I need to use the Crown Wallet?

As Members are limited to funding their play to a maximum of $5000 cash per day in line with regulatory changes, using the Crown Wallet ensures the maximum of $5000 daily cash per day spend is not exceeded.

Cash that is used to purchase chips must now be deposited into the Crown Wallet first. 

How do I use the Crown Wallet? 

STEP 1: FUND  

To top up your Crown Wallet, visit the Cashier or designated buy-in table:  

  • Present your Crown Rewards card and ask to make a deposit into your Crown Wallet. 
  • Use cash or your debit card to make the payment. 
  • Authorise the deposit into your Crown Wallet using your Crown PIN. Please note, this is not the PIN associated with your debit card. 

Your funds will now be available in your Crown Wallet.  

STEP 2: PLAY 

At an electronic table game (eTG):  

  • Insert your Crown Rewards card in the eTG machine. 
  • When prompted, enter your Crown PIN.   
  • Enter the amount you want to transfer to the eTG for play and hit 'Enter'.  
  • You can now play on the eTG.    

When you have finished playing, select the 'Withdraw' button on the eTG to transfer your winnings or remaining funds back to your Crown Wallet.   

At a traditional table game: 

  • Present your Crown Rewards card to the dealer when you arrive at the table to play.  
  • At any time, ask the dealer to purchase chips from your Crown Wallet, or a "cashless buy-in".  
  • Confirm the value of the of the chips you want to purchase. 
  • When prompted, use your Crown PIN to authorise the chip purchase.  
  • The dealer will issue your chips. 

When you’ve finished playing, take your chips to the Cashier to deposit them into your Crown Wallet, or withdraw. 

STEP 3: WITHDRAW 

At the Cashier, withdraw up to $5000 cash or have any amount transferred via EFT.   

  • Present your Crown Rewards card to the Cashier and ask to withdraw funds from your Crown Wallet. 
  • Nominate your payment method. You can be issued with up to $5000 cash and any amount to be transferred via EFT or cheque.  
  • When prompted, use your Crown PIN to authorise the withdrawal. 
  • Your withdrawal will be processed as requested.

Important information about debit cards 

When topping up your Crown Wallet using a debit card, the debit card must be in your name and the card must be swiped or inserted into the EFTPOS terminal. Contactless payments, credit cards and any kind of pre-paid cards such as gift cards cannot be accepted. 

Can I use my Crown Wallet across all of Crown Resorts?

Your Crown Wallet is only for funding your play at Crown Sydney. It cannot be used for any purchases at our bars and restaurants or for funding your play at our Melbourne or Perth casinos. 

Is there a limit when depositing funds into my Crown Wallet?

Depending on your bank, there may be transaction or daily limits associated with your debit card. Contact your bank for assistance. 

Most importantly, always remember to play within your personal budget.

Why is my transaction being declined, even though I have funds available in my bank account?

Some banks have a default setting to block gaming transactions. If you are having any issues processing a transaction, we recommend you contact your bank directly.  

What do I do if I don’t remember my Crown Rewards PIN? 

If you don’t remember your Crown PIN you can reset it via the Crown Mobile App or onsite at a host desk. Remember to keep your Crown PIN and card secure.

Why can’t I deposit unlimited cash? 

In line with regulatory changes, members will be limited to funding their play to a maximum of $5000 cash per day. However, you can use your Crown Wallet to fund your play electronically up to your personal budget. 

What if I don’t want to use the Crown Wallet? 

Customers who do not wish to use the Crown Wallet (or cash) can set up a Deposit Account (DAB) and transfer funds direct to Crown. 

How long can I leave my funds in my Crown Wallet?

Your funds can remain in your Crown Wallet for as long as you would like, ready for your next visit. If you have not had any activity within 180 days (about 6 months), we will contact you about returning your funds.
