Get started with your crown wallet

Crown accepts personal Visa or Mastercard debit cards (at the cashier and through the Crown Resorts app) and personal EFTPOS cards (at the cashier). Surcharges apply. Crown does not accept contactless payments, credit cards or pre-paid cards (such as gift cards).

Have a question for us?

Can I use my Crown Wallet across all Crown Resorts?

Your Crown Wallet is only available for gaming at Crown Sydney. It cannot be used at our restaurants, bars, or Crown’s Melbourne or Perth casinos. 

Is there a limit when depositing funds into my Crown Wallet?

Every bank is different and your bank may have transaction or daily limits associated with your debit card.  Contact your bank for details. Most importantly, always remember to play within your personal budget. Play safe and play in control.

Help, I don’t remember my Crown Rewards PIN.

That’s ok, if you don’t remember your Crown PIN you can reset it via the Crown Mobile App or onsite at a friendly Host desk. Remember to keep your Crown PIN and card secure. 

What if I don’t want to use the Crown Wallet?

Despite being the easiest and most secure way to play, some prefer an alternative. You can set up a Deposit Account (DAB) to transfer funds directly to Crown should you wish

How do I use the Crown Wallet?

1.    Log into the Crown Resorts mobile app with your member number and PIN/password. 

2.    Tap the Wallet tab. 

STEP 1: DEPOSIT 

Add and verify a deposit method 

To deposit funds using the mobile app, you’ll need to add at least one verified payment method. This must be linked to a personal account and will go through a simple online verification process. If verification isn’t successful, you may need to visit the Cashier to complete the process in person. 

Debit Card 

  1. Tap Deposit 
  2. Select Add a new card 
  3. Enter your card details manually or use the camera icon to scan your card and auto-fill your information 
  4. Enter your CVV/CVC code 
  5. Tap Add Card 

Deposit Funds 

  1. Tap Deposit 
  2. Select your preferred deposit method 
  3. Enter the deposit amount and CVV/CVC 
  4. Tap Deposit Funds 
  5. You’ll receive a one-time password via SMS or email - enter the code and tap Submit 
  6. Review and confirm your deposit, including any applicable fees 
  7. Your deposit will be processed, and your available balance will be updated 

STEP 2: PLAY 

At an electronic table game (eTG):  

  • Insert your Crown Rewards card into the eTG. 
  • Enter your Crown PIN when prompted. 
  • Select the amount to transfer and tap Enter to begin playing. 
  • When finished, tap Withdraw on the machine to transfer any remaining balance or winnings back to your Crown Wallet. 

At a traditional table game: 

  • Hand your Crown Rewards card to the dealer. 
  • Request to purchase chips using your Crown Wallet for a cashless buy-in. 
  • Confirm the amount of chips you wish to buy. 
  • Authorize the transaction using your Crown PIN. 
  • The dealer will provide your chips, and you’re ready to play! 
  • When finished, visit the Cashier to deposit your chips into your Crown Wallet or withdraw your winnings. 


STEP 3: WITHDRAW 

Add and verify a withdrawal method
To withdraw funds using the mobile app, you must first add a personal bank account as your withdrawal method. This will require a simple one-time verification process. If your account hasn’t been verified with Crown before, you will need to visit the Cashier with a bank statement to complete the verification in person. 

How to add a withdrawal method: 

  1. Tap Withdraw 
  2. Enter your account name, account number, and BSB 
  3. Tap Continue 
  4. If verification is required, visit the Cashier with a bank statement from the last 12 months 
  5. Once verified, you can start withdrawing funds 


Withdraw Funds 

  1. Tap Withdraw 
  2. Select Bank Transfer 
  3. Enter the amount you want to withdraw 
  4. Tap Withdraw Funds 
  5. Authenticate your transaction using the code sent via SMS or email 
  6. Confirm your withdrawal details and tap Withdraw Funds 
  7. Your withdrawal will be processed and available in your bank account once Crown and your bank complete the transaction 

What kind of deposit methods are accepted in the app?

Your debit card must be an Australian domestic debit card, belong to you, and you must be named on the card. Most international debit cards can be accepted for debit card transactions at the Cashier. Contactless payments, credit cards, and prepaid cards (including gift cards) are not accepted.

I can’t see the Wallet tab in my Crown Resorts mobile app. What should I do?

Ensure your app is updated to the latest version. Close and reload the app. If the issue persists, visit a Host desk or the Cashier. 

I need to update my contact details for authentication codes. How do I do this?

Please visit a Host desk to update your details.

How do I use the Crown Wallet?

Even without the app, you can still enjoy the security and convenience of the Crown Wallet. Here’s how: 

STEP 1: DEPOSIT 

Top up your Crown Wallet in person at Crown by visiting the Cashier or a designated buy-in table: 

  • Present your Crown Rewards card and request a deposit. 
  • Deposit funds using cash or your debit card. 
  • If prompted, confirm the deposit by entering your Crown PIN (remember this is separate from your debit card PIN). 
  • Your transaction will be processed and funds will be available in your Crown Wallet—ready for play.


STEP 2: PLAY 

At an electronic table game (ETG): 

  • Insert your Crown Rewards card into the ETG. 
  • Enter your Crown PIN when prompted. 
  • Select the amount to transfer and tap Enter to begin playing. 
  • When finished, tap Withdraw on the machine to transfer any remaining balance or winnings back to your Crown Wallet. 

At a traditional table game: 

  • Hand your Crown Rewards card to the dealer. 
  • Request to purchase chips using your Crown Wallet for a cashless buy-in. 
  • Confirm the amount of chips you wish to buy. 
  • Authorize the transaction using your Crown PIN. 
  • The dealer will provide your chips, and you’re ready to play! 
  • When finished, visit the Cashier to deposit your chips into your Crown Wallet or withdraw your winnings. 


STEP 3: WITHDRAW 

Want to cash out? No problem.

  • Visit the Cashier to withdraw up to $5,000 in cash or request an EFT transfer of any amount. 
  • Present your Crown Rewards card and request a withdrawal. 
  • Choose your preferred payment method—cash (up to $5,000), EFT, or cheque. 
  • Confirm the withdrawal by entering your Crown PIN. 
  • Your funds will be quickly processed as requested. 

Important Information About Debit Cards

Your debit card must be in your name and physically swiped or inserted into the EFTPOS terminal. Contactless payments, credit cards, and prepaid cards (including gift cards) are not accepted. 


Why is my transaction being declined if I have enough funds?

Some banks automatically block gaming transactions. If your deposit is declined, contact your bank for assistance. 

Why can’t I deposit more than $5,000 cash?

Due to regulatory requirements, cash deposits are limited to $5,000 per day. However, you can continue to fund your play electronically via your Crown Wallet—up to your personal budget.
